My take on Samelia's Mums Sugar Stars quilt

I bought this fabric a while ago on Etsy, wondered what I was going to do with it and why had I actually bought it. It only had 3 fabrics and then I bought 9 matching solids, all from Robert Kaufman Fabrics, then I saw Anorinas Quilt, http://www.sameliasmum.com/ and thought that would be the perfect pattern for this fabric, I had tons of solids left so thought i would piece the back with it and make a very large star. Love the way it came out.
